Daniel O'Neill is a multimedia artist born and raised in Providence RI. Daniel has exhibited in the U.S. and Europe in commercial galleries, alternative spaces and outdoor public settings. Daniel currently teaches in the Art Department at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Daniel recently spent several years in Rome, Italy researching how artists have used mosaic, fresco and sculpture to create narrative and propaganda. His work takes inspiration from the long history of images built into architecture for decoration and to project the power of the state and religious entities. This research led to video installations, murals and other public art projects.
